Can you correct or replace forms if USCIS requests updates?

Yes. If USCIS requests clarification or updates, we can assist promptly.

Can children and infants get immigration physicals?

Yes. Requirements vary by age. Young children often need fewer labs and only vaccination reviews.

What if my immigration attorney needs a copy of the exam?

With your permission, we can provide an unsealed copy or send a copy directly to your attorney.

Can I take medications (blood pressure, diabetes, birth control) before the immigration physical exam?

Yes. Continue all routine medications. None of the required tests requires fasting or medication changes.

Can my children and I be seen on the same day for an immigration physical?

Yes. Families often schedule group appointments, and we can complete exams for parents and children together.

What if I lost my sealed envelope from my immigration physical?

We can prepare a new one, but you may need to return for verification. Additional fees may apply.

Do I need an attorney before getting the I-693 exam?

No. You do not need an immigration attorney to complete the medical exam. However, if you have an attorney, you may share your completed form with them for your immigration packet.

Can I fill out my portion of the I-693 form at home?

Yes, you may complete Pages 1–2 only. Do NOT sign any part until instructed by the Civil Surgeon.

Should I bring my immunization card even if it’s in another language?

Yes. We can translate or interpret most vaccination records. Bring any medical documentation you have.

Can I decline vaccines for personal reasons during an immigration physical?

USCIS does not accept personal or philosophical objections. Only medical contraindications or age exemptions are allowed.
